Aurora is the place for unique "Hands-On" learning opportunities.

In addition to several demonstrating artists, FAMFest offers many hands-on art activities for children of all ages. The following pictures from past festivals depict only a small sample of the opportunities available during Aurora's annual FAMFest.

Prairie Plains Resource Institute has been celebrating the land and its people since 1980! A nonprofit educational land trust, we're dedicated to creating opportunities on the land for people of all ages. We offer a full calendar of events on our seven Nebraska prairie preserves, consultation for landowners and agencies regarding high-diversity prairie restoration, citizen working groups building relationships and resolving issues through the Platte Corridor Initiative and much, much more.

Located in Dr. Harold Edgerton's home town, the EEC inspires kids age 2 to 92 through exciting activities and state-of-the-art programming.
